‘Big Classic Friday’ on Friday 20th September for the IRC Zero Class including Spirit Yachts
Live entry list at: https://rafyc.org.uk/hamble-classics-regatta/#entries – this year includes many notable classic yachts and as usual the weekend event offers racing for Classic Yachts and Dayboats of pre-1971 design and later GRP versions, ‘always-GRP’ production yachts by special invitation, IRC and Regatta handicap classes, 6-Metres, Dragons, XOD, the Gaffers, and Spirit of Tradition yachts.
‘Big Classic Friday’ – racing for the ‘IRC Zero’ class rating IRC 1.040 and above, plus class for yachts rating IRC 0.950 and above (separate Friday series, two races planned).
The Principal Race Officer is Peter Bateson and Stephen Parry (Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta and Channel Classic Regatta PRO) is Race Officer for the inshore course, with additional support from Hamble River Sailing Club and Wetwheels Hamble.

Berthing – walk ashore access to the RAFYC from MDL’s Port Hamble Marina plus a launch service for yachts moored elsewhere. All yacht crews are welcome at the club from noon on Friday 20th for afternoon tea and cakes and Welcome Reception at 1830.
