GBR 86 Scoundrel One

Designed by Pelle Petterson for Bruce Owen and built by Batbyggarna Ab in Sweden in 1986, Bruce immediately went out to the Europeans at Portofino in April and came 2nd.  The following year 1987, he won the World Cup in her at Oyster Bay. .  After the 1988 Europeans in Falmouth, she was replaced by the wooden Scoundrel built by Paul Litton. She rarely appeared after that and was sold abroad.  She had been laid up for some years until in 2006 Bertie Bicket bought, thoroughly updated and re-furbished her.  That year he entered a number of local Cowes races coming 2nd to Wildcat II at the RCYC Regatta and winning at the Squadron on the 23rd July that year.  In 2007 he finished 6th in her in the Worlds at Cowes.
